It has been some time since we've last updated here, but truly not much in-system has happened other than the usual occasional malfunctions. We still have quite the backlog to comb through, but we believe we are getting to a point where we don't need to split a new alter at every new stressor, which is a very good sign for us. Of course, this could be me jinxing it, but we can do nothing but hope.
Apart from our usual duties, we have been trying to get our headmates to journal more regularly. We have found a few things to encourage it, but it isn't fully fool proof. We managed to buy a few sticker packs at the Dollar Tree and the idea is if xe writes in the journal physically (instead of leaving a note on our phone to write in later), xe gets to pick a sticker to put in the journal wherever xe would like. From there, we would have liked to encourage an entry every hour or so in order to better manage our amnesia, but that hasn't seemed to work too well, so we're attempting to rework that now while we take a small break from constant journaling. Ideally, overall, we would have at least one entry in the morning saying how we slept and what we want to achieve in the day and one at night, summarizing the day, what we actually did achieve, and any plans for the next day.
We do intend on scanning some pages to upload onto here for organization's sake, so we constructed a false alphabet in case we need to maintain some secrecy. We're quite proud of it! This is a conceptual example we wrote last night: In our opinion, it's a bit too simple to crack, but we already have memory problems, so this is the best we can do.
We are glad for some rest, but we don't anticipate it lasting long. It never does when you're a gateekeper.
